Maana Kyoto
Ideal for a small family or couple seeking the gentle charm of Kyoto living, this home is tucked within a quiet residential neighborhood away from busy tourist areas. As with many Kyo-machiyas, the original structure remains, including thinner walls, so everyday neighbourhood sounds may be noticeable.
Convenience stores, supermarkets, and local eateries are close by, and JR Tambaguchi Station is only a 5-minute walk away—just one stop from Kyoto Station. Arashiden and Hankyu Omiya Stations are also easily reached on foot or by bus, making the home a peaceful yet convenient base for exploring the city.
The 2-storey house with stairs only accommodates up to 5 guests, with a queen bed in the master bedroom and up to 3 futons in the tatami room. A full kitchen, washer and dryer, tatami living room, Japanese-style bathtub, and a small patio complete the space.
